Industry Executive Joins dbkAssociates, Inc.

Mr. Arnold R. Karpel announces association with new management consulting firm.

I am pleased to announce that Mr. Arnold R. Karpel has finalized his agreement to provide consulting services to dbkAssociates, Inc.^SM In his capacity as an independent contractor, Mr. Karpel will be providing not only services to our clients, but will provide us leadership as President of our company. We look forward to his association with our firm.

Mr. Karpel has more than 26 years experience in the high technology business sector with an emphasis on semiconductor products and customers. His experience in this field is both extensive and diverse covering multiple disciplines including sales, marketing, military, consumer, automotive, cross-functional change management, strategic planning, six sigma champion, business process analysis development and improvement, and multinational business systems development.

Mr. Karpel has used his leadership skills to help guide sales and business units at some of the world’s largest semiconductor manufacturers. In those positions he has significantly increased sales by concentrating on design wins with high levels of services providing real value to his customers. He has increased cash flow through the use of innovative techniques and redesigning of business processes, saving over $40M in one year alone through the implementation of Six Sigma programs. These savings are in the areas of inventory management, forecasting and reduction of non value added activities. Mr. Karpel has been certified in strategic planning resulting in leading executive teams to identify new strategies along with the plan to implement them.

Innovative techniques have driven business units to not only think outside the box but also to adopt early technologies gaining a significant competitive advantage. 

As Vice President of the world’s second largest semiconductor manufacturer, Mr. Karpel was instrumental in the implementation of programs to improve productivity, reduce cost, and improve customer satisfaction for this US based company. 

Mr. Karpel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, Mathematics, and Science Specialization. He plans to begin providing services to dbkAssociates, Inc.SM by the end of August 2002.
