Since it was formed in March of 2002, dbkAssociates has been providing management consulting services for small to mid-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Southern California region.

We are experienced executives and senior managers with extensive knowledge in diverse roles supporting Business Development in key areas such as: Corporate Governance, Business Process Analysis and Reengineering, Change Management, Sales, Marketing, and Application Engineering.

Our consultants are Engineering and Management Professionals who have provided both internal consulting (direct employee) and outsourced consulting services. All consultants have been through major reengineering projects involving large cross-functional Information Technology Systems. Several are members of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), the Association of Professional Consultants, and other professional organizations.

About our logo and images

When we asked our graphic artist to design our logo, we gave her some ideas with which to work. We suggested that our goal, through objective observation, was to give our clients some help in setting strategic directions for their processes and for their companies. We believe that with our experience we will be able to improve management practices and company performance. We noted that in our business, the "high technology" world, our products and markets are competing in a global economy with all the challenges that such an economy brings.

The resulting logo is a simple statement of the corporate name and an image of moving along the path from the red (losses and warnings) going in the wrong direction to the black (financially sound) going up and to the right - a direction which usually means continuous improvements in our company metrics. Of course, the arrow also imparts an image of changing directions in response to our global market. Our printed graphics often include an image of the world to remind us all that we are in a global economy; one that will surely change the markets around us - at internet speeds - and thus necessitate continuous change in our companies.

These symbols are as important in keeping us focused on our goals of helping to guide you and your company as they are to conveying a message to you about our services. We hope and trust that together we can achieve our shared vision of creating the possibilities for growth through objective analysis and careful navigation of today's global-market economy.
